This looks awesome Anna. I think that as part of the partnership with the AYCCC will be really important to get a mainstream and broad audience. Does anyone know a way of maybe getting a radio station (JJJ) and/or a newspaper on board? This will be a huge asset, as well as all possible non-environment organisations. The thinking behind this is if we can get these parties involved in our action plan (to be discussed soon) then we're rocking.

Hey (was that Eric?) Yeah, well Vibewire want to be a part of it, and we can let our contacts at jjj know about it, hack might be interested.. As for a newspaper, well they will hopefully cover the story but they are not really an 'organisation' as such that would be able to send a representative along to be a part of drafting a statement, taking action etc - because media outlets don't have members/ constituents and clearly can't sign up to be part of issue-based coalitions. However, perhaps there is some youth media association that could send a representative - I don't know if the National Student Media Network is a functioning network, I will find out - Anna

Hey Anna and Eric (and others reading this). Just a note to say that I hope that the strategy weekend goes well in early feb. Hopefully some from VGen NSW can attend - i received Richie's email.
I know it's frustrating that VGen couldn't officially sign the declaration as a whole but i'm still working with some of the Enviro groups in VGen and World Vision to see what other options are.
Keep up the amazing work you guys are doing - the website and profile of AYCCC is on fire!!
